DEFINITION OF POSITION: To organize and coordinate the Knowledge Bowl program at Pullman High School
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Principal or Designee
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Evidence of successful student activity advising experience

Ability to obtain a Pullman School District Type II driver’s license upon hire
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working with high school students in an academic setting

First Aid/CPR Certification
ESSENTIAL JOB-RELATED ACTIVITIES:
-
Recruit teams for Knowledge Bowl Competitions
-
Hold appropriate meetings with students to prepare them for competition
-
Assemble appropriate materials, arrange for relevant speakers, and hold practice sessions to prepare for competition

Coordinate plans for competition with appropriate agencies/other advisors

Supervise students in and at competitions

Develop summer time reading list from the guides provided by the Knowledge Bowl program

Develop a systematic program and status reports to inform school personnel regarding the Knowledge Bowl program and competition

Fulfill other duties as required to appropriately field teams for competitions

Salary: Stipend Position: $2,383 - $2,788 per school year
