Position Summary
Trillium Health is seeking a highly organized and proactive Maintenance Coordinator to serve as the on-site liaison for the renovation and development of our Bridgeport facility. This position is responsible for coordinating communication between Trillium Health leadership, contractors, architects, engineers, vendors, and regulatory agencies to support the successful completion of the renovation project.
The Maintenance Coordinator will oversee project communications, monitor progress, coordinate site activities, and help ensure the facility is prepared for operational readiness upon completion of renovation activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Renovation Project Coordination
- Serve as the primary on-site liaison between Trillium Health leadership and renovation project stakeholders.
- Coordinate communication among contractors, architects, engineers, consultants, vendors, and inspectors.
- Conduct routine project walkthroughs and provide progress updates to leadership.
- Monitor renovation activities and report concerns, delays, deficiencies, and project milestones.
- Coordinate contractor access, deliveries, inspections, and site logistics.
- Assist with tracking project timelines, milestones, and completion schedules.
- Maintain project documentation, meeting notes, contractor correspondence, permits, and inspection records.
- Facilitate communication and follow-up on outstanding project items.
- Assist with punch-list development and project closeout activities.
- Coordinate furniture, fixtures, equipment deliveries, and operational readiness activities as project milestones are completed.
- Participate in project meetings and maintain action-item tracking.
Regulatory & Compliance Support
- Coordinate facility inspections with contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
- Assist with documentation required for occupancy, licensing, and regulatory approvals.
- Help ensure renovation activities comply with applicable building, life safety, and regulatory requirements.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Prepare project status reports and updates for leadership.
- Maintain organized project records and documentation.
- Track contractor and vendor documentation.
- Schedule project meetings and coordinate stakeholder communications.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid Michigan driver's license.
