Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer / Designer of building systems to join our award winning design engineering team.
We are currently in need of an electrical design engineer. Approximately 4-7 years of experience. Will work directly with our Electrical Department Head. Will collaborate with the rest of our in-house MEP team. Will also work with various Architects, Structural Engineers, manufacturer’s representatives, and contractors outside our firm.
Duties will include but not limited to:
· Drafting electrical and lighting plans, riser diagrams etc.
· Electrical load calculations
· Voltage drop calculations
· Create panel schedules
· Field visit to review existing conditions and construction progress review.
· Review shop drawings
· Review and interpretation of the National Electrical Code and other applicable construction codes and standards.
Must be able to work in ACAD LT, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat. Along with learning any other software the firm deems appropriate.
Work will be in person at our office in the Princeton Area. Additional travel may be required, typically within the State of NJ.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
