Responsibilities
- Prepare food items efficiently and according to safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and swiftly.
- Manage customer transactions at the register, including cash handling, processing credit/debit payments, and issuing receipts.
- Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales.
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace by cleaning kitchen equipment, dining areas, and food prep stations regularly.
- Support food safety protocols by handling food properly, practicing sanitation standards, and adhering to health regulations.
- Assist with bussing tables, managing food handling tasks, and ensuring a sanitized environment for both customers and staff.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation is advantageous.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Background in retail sales transactions or grocery store experience is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability in customer service roles with excellent communication skills.
- Basic math skills for cash register operations and retail math calculations are essential.
