We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team at our esteemed hotel. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during overnight shifts, providing exceptional customer service to our guests while performing essential accounting and administrative tasks. This position requires a blend of hospitality management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently during late hours.
Duties
- Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while providing outstanding guest services.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest relations.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Utilize multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls and assist guests with their needs.
- Prepare daily reports for management, summarizing occupancy rates, revenue, and any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences throughout their stay.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality is preferred.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures and accounting practices is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Proficiency in using front desk software and multi-line phone systems is beneficial.
