Acorn Café is hiring an experienced barista to join our team in Healdsburg.
We’re looking for someone with at least 1 year of professional barista experience who is confident working an espresso bar, enjoys hospitality, and can maintain quality and speed in a busy café environment.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, matcha, tea, and specialty beverages
- Dial in espresso and adjust grinders as needed
- Steam milk consistently with proper texture and temperature
- Work efficiently during busy, high-volume service
- Follow drink recipes and presentation standards
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
- Operate the POS and accurately process guest orders
- Assist with food running, bussing, restocking, and general front-of-house duties as needed
- Work closely with shift leads, kitchen staff, and other team members
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of professional barista experience required
- Strong espresso and milk-steaming skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Friendly and confident when interacting with guests
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods
- High-volume café experience preferred
- Toast POS experience is a plus
