Infusion Registered Nurse
Seeking a part time with flexible schedule Infusion Registered Nurse:
* Wednesday and Thursday only
* IV therapy skill is a must.
* Checking information from patient regarding illness, allergies, surgeries and insurance verification.
* Obtain vital signs, temperature, pulse and blood pressure.
* Determine dosage of medication based upon weight and covert to kg.
* Obtain signed consent form from patient.
* Obtain peripheral IV access.
* Prepare infusion medication by diluting and infusing in appropriate size IV fluids according to standard of medication.
* Begin infusion.
* Monitor vital signs, blood pressure and pulse accordingly.
* Discontinue IV access and document accordingly.
* Schedule appointment for next infusion according to the Physician's direction.
