Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Inside Sales / Counter Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support while assisting with their purchases. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for sales, ensuring a positive experience for all customers. You will also assist in the warehouse operations as needed.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
- Utilize POS systems to process sales efficiently. Providing quotes, completing sales orders, and processing returns as needed.
- Research and locate non-stock products for customers.
- Maintain basic knowledge of products to provide effective product demos and recommendations.
- Communicate effectively with customers over the phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills and familiarity with cash registers or POS systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Electrical background or basic knowledge is a plus but not a requirement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
