COI-Connected is currently seeking a Curriculum & Community Integration staff member to join our team.
COI-Connected is a fun and productive day program for our Individuals to meet there goals and to help them feel as independent as possible.

· Must be understanding & compassionate for individuals with various special needs, and able to adapt activities for physical and cognitive limitations of the folks we serve.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Needs to be able to plan and oversee several activities a day for our Day Habilitation classrooms with adults that have physical and developmental disabilities.
· Needs to be able to type up the monthly events calendar for those classrooms.
· Needs to be able to develop curriculum based on the individual strengths and needs in order to build a sense of community while enriching the lives of our folks. Curriculum includes various skill sets such as: daily living skills, cognitive skills, social skills, fine motor skills, job development activities, physical movement, and community integration.
· Needs to be organized and able to inventory and maintain supplies needed for the activities.
· Needs to be able to manage their time well in order to prep, set up and implement current activities while thinking ahead and knowing what is needed to be purchased and prepped for upcoming activities.
· Able to communicate with the Classroom lead DSP to assure they understand the lessons & activities and are able to implement the curriculum as intended.
· Willing to call around to local businesses, to plan, set up reservations, etc… for community-integrated outings for small groups of folks that will expand their social experiences.
Job Type: Full-time
