About the Role
We are looking for a high-energy, compassionate Preschool Teachers to guide our little explorers through their most active stage of development! You will help children transition from parallel play to social interaction, support their burgeoning language skills, and celebrate their growing independence—from using a spoon to mastering the potty. In this classroom, you will be more than a caregiver; you will be a vital part of each child’s early development.
Key Responsibilities
Interactive Learning: Design and lead play-based activities that focus on sensory exploration, music, movement, and early literacy.
Social-Emotional Coaching: Use positive redirection and "big emotion" coaching to help toddlers learn to share, take turns, and express themselves.
Physical Care: Assist with meal times (encouraging self-feeding), diapering, and the beginning stages of potty training.
Safety & Supervision: Maintain constant, active supervision of a fast-moving group and ensure the classroom meets all health and safety standards.
Family Partnerships: Provide daily updates to parents via Procare regarding developmental milestones, mood, and care routines.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma/GED required; Child Development Associate (CDA) is preferred for Lead Teachers.
- Skills: Strong understanding of child milestones (motor skills, language development, and emotional regulation).
- Requirements: Ability to pass a background check, current CPR/First Aid, and the physical stamina to keep up with active children. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds, sit on the floor, and move quickly to ensure child safety.
