Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for overall project execution, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, contract administration, staffing, cost control, billing, change management, and client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is a proven construction leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can effectively manage multiple stakeholders, and has a strong track record of delivering complex projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee day-to-day operations of assigned project teams.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, schedules, and overall financial performance.
- Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment to support project schedules and cost objectives.
- Negotiate and administer subcontractor and supplier agreements.
- Oversee project documentation, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and contract compliance.
- Conduct preconstruction turnover meetings and ensure projects are properly mobilized.
- Monitor labor productivity, manpower planning, and resource allocation.
- Review and approve invoices, billing schedules, and monthly contract valuations.
- Manage project cash flow, collections, retention, and financial forecasting.
- Facilitate regular project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Ensure all permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements are obtained and maintained.
- Drive project closeout activities, including final documentation and turnover.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, client satisfaction, and operational excellence.
Leadership Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 15+ years of construction project management experience.
- Extensive experience managing large-scale mechanical construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of project budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, contract administration, procurement, and cost control.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- Demonstrated success delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
