DEFINITION:
Cleans designated and assigned areas and procedures. Procedures include damp dusting horizontal surfaces, vents, trash removal, cleaning/scouring sinks and stools, dry and wet mopping (occasionally stripping, applying floor finish and buffing) hard surfaced floors, vacuuming carpeting, and washing windows, door frames and other vertical surfaces.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of one year experience in Housekeeping/Environmental Services, in a healthcare setting. Ability to read and write; High School Graduate or GED
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous Housekeeping/Environmental Services experience in a hospital setting.
