Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to lead our chemical manufacturing operations. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing activities on the production floor, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety protocols
- Lead, manage, and motivate production teams to meet productivity targets while maintaining high safety and quality standards
- Interpret and follow manufacturing documents, technical drawings, and process instructions accurately
- Utilize measuring instruments and hand tools to perform quality checks, mechanical assembly, and equipment maintenance tasks
- Operate forklifts and power tools safely to facilitate warehouse movements, raw material handling, and finished product distribution
- Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting to support production needs while adhering to safety standards
- Implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflows
Requirements
- Proven factory experience within a manufacturing or chemical production environment with a strong understanding of safety standards in production
- Hands-on experience with assembly line operations, mechanical assembly, and interpreting technical drawings
- Proficiency with measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing equipment
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures including forklift operation and inventory management
- Ability to manage production or assembly teams effectively while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement
- Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in process improvement initiatives within a manufacturing setting
- Strong understanding of manufacturing management practices including safety protocol adherence, lean manufacturing techniques, and quality control standards

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
