FirstDigital Telecom, a leading facilities-based communications carrier offering broadband connections for Voice, Data, Video and Cloud Services is seeking a Residential Project Manager to join our team in Draper, UT
A Residential Project Manager will own the full lifecycle of assigned residential development projects, such as new construction developments, contract re-signs, and converting existing properties to FirstDigital services. This is not a task management role, it's a relationship role. You'll be the point of contact for developers, builders, and internal teams throughout the life of the project. You'll manage timelines, coordinate installs, maintain accurate project projections, and build the kind of relationships that make people want to keep doing business with us.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with developers, owner groups, general contractors, subcontractors, and property management groups.
- Define and maintain project scope to ensure clear lines of responsibility for all involved vendors, builders, etc.
- Manage project timelines such as projections, release dates, service turn-up dates, and billing start dates.
- Schedule/coordinate with internal construction and operation teams to ensure work is being done in a timely manner to meet the necessary deadlines.
- Maintain accurate capital expenditure estimates and projections throughout the life of each project.
- Attend site construction meetings, vendor meets, coordination calls, and scheduling meetings, as needed
- Maintain reporting and tracking mechanisms to show progress of pending orders and timeframes associated with the process through the life of the project
Requirements:
- Telecommunications experience preferred, but not required
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects at once while meeting all deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong documentation skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Project Management software experience preferred (Salesforce, ProCore, AutoDesk)
- Valid U.S. Drivers License
