Maintenance Technician
Our manufacturing client is looking for a Maintenance Technician to keep their Wilton, NH facility running smoothly. This full-time opportunity includes a collaborative environment and a great first-shift schedule.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Perform both preventative/scheduled and emergency/unscheduled maintenance and repairs
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
- Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Report faulty operations or defective material
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications of the Maintenance Technician
- High school diploma/GED and completion of craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent combination of education and production maintenance experience
- Highly motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to perform duties from a ladder
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 75 lbs. consistently, with heavier weight as needed on occasion
This Maintenance Technician position works Monday through Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm with some flexibility. We look forward to hearing from you!
