We are seeking a reliable and customer-service oriented Deli Associate who can provide our customers with a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter who is not afraid to push boundaries and think outside of the box. We are looking for individuals who can regularly find ways to improve upon our in-store operation, such as creating new store layouts, improving purchasing strategies and developing new in-store products.
Responsibilities:
- Clean all shelving and areas of taste-constant cleaning required
- Take customer orders and prepare food in a timely manner.
- Sell side items to the customer.
- Enter information into the cash register.
- Clean up after a shift is over.
- Take inventory and prepare supplier orders for food and supplies.
- Handle customer complaints.
- Be punctual.
- Wash hands before work and after using the restroom.
Required:
- Own transportation, other than mass transit
- Availability to work nights and weekends
Preferred:
- ServSafe certification
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage tasks and priorities without management direction
- Excellent math and English skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
