Title: Moving Driver
Scope of Position:
Phoenix Express Moving is one of the highest rated moving companies in the DFW area and has been professionally serving Dallas/Ft. Worth and beyond since 1999. As we grow, we are looking to add to our dedicated team.
Position Qualifications and Requirements:
Education & Experience:
High School diploma or GED certification
Experience with a moving company preferred
Driving 3 years preferred
Must have a clean driving record
Must have a valid driver’s license (Class C)
Bilingual preferred
Physical Demands & Requirements:
Long hours sometimes required, including nights and weekends.
Light work-Exerting up to 30 pounds and more of force occasionally, and/or frequently or constantly able to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Ability to climb stairs, bend, kneel, crawl
Must be willing to submit a pre-employment background check and MVR
Operate a 26’ box truck
Travel out of state
Must be able to travel on plane ( national flights)
Operate lifting equipment (dollies, ramps, etc.), hand tools, packing supplies
Maintain a professional appearance and wear approved company attire
Schedule
8 hour shift
10 hour shift
12 hour shift
Monday-Friday
Weekends
Responsibilities may include any and all of the following:
Provide exceptional customer service to all customers at all times
Communicate clearly and professionally with owners, teammates and customers
Safely disassemble, move, pack and unpack belongings
Place belonging in requested positions in new location at the customer’s request
Take inventory of items to ensure no items are lost during transportation
Must be able to carry furniture and navigate through doorways, stairs and around obstructions without damaging property
Complete all necessary paperwork and collect payment at each job
Arrive to destination on schedule
