Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines during all maintenance activities.
Identify and address potential safety hazards in the work environment.
Promote a safety-first culture and contribute to the development of safety procedures.

Maintenance & Preventive Maintenance
Set up, configure and maintain manufacturing and packaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality and efficient operations.
Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance tasks according to established protocols.
Communicate effectively with team members, production staff, and management.
Provide clear and concise updates on equipment status and maintenance activities.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks.
Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in manufacturing and packaging equipment.
Identify and resolve issues promptly to minimize disruptions in production.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex technical problems efficiently.
Use instruments to test the performance of system assemblies.
Analyze equipment-related problems and develop effective solutions.
Implement improvements to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
Work on continuous improvement projects to optimize maintenance processes.
Evaluate systems and recommend design modifications.
Plan and develop applications and modifications for packaging equipment and material handling systems to improve technical performance.
Utilize a variety of hand tools with precision to perform maintenance and repair tasks.
Demonstrate proficiency in handling equipment parts and components safely.
Ensure proper calibration and usage of tools to maintain equipment integrity.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance tasks.
Update equipment logs and documentation in compliance with QMS requirements.
Generate reports on equipment performance and maintenance metrics as required.
Ensure adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) standards and procedures.
Participate in internal and external audits to verify compliance with QMS Standards.
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to implement corrective actions as needed.
Participate in and/or execute qualification protocols
Qualifications

Over the age of 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Familiarity with ISO 22716 standards is a plus.

Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Intermediate math skills for measurements and calculations

Prior experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to think critically.

Demonstrated dexterity and proficiency in using hand tools.

Ability to work safely and follow established safety protocols.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.

Ability to adapt to changes in schedules and priorities.
