Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse tasks, including heavy lifting, materials handling, and ensuring the accurate processing of orders. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to maintain an organized and safe work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required to move products and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Receive shipments from factory and regional warehouse locations, verifying the accuracy of received items.
- Replenish inventory in designated warehouse bin locations and maintain proper storage and identification methods of materials.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely and efficiently.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisor to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety protocols.
- Follow OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Utilize SAP B1 or similar systems for tracking inventory and managing orders as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space to promote efficiency.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with materials handling techniques and safety practices is essential.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to multitask while prioritizing numerous tasks.
- Experience operating order pickers, pallet jacks, or other warehouse machinery is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
