Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure efficient movement of goods throughout the facility. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to meet operational goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Load finished goods or unload raw materials to and from trucks
.•Timely fulfillment and delivery of materials and product to support of production goals and customer deadlines
•Safely operate a forklift (upon completion of certification program)
•Process Raw Material receipts.
•Perform general housekeeping and sanitation tasks
•Maintain inventory accuracy
•Perform other duties as assigned
Experience
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with various types of material handling equipment, including reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on equipment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining individual accountability.
