Moes Southwest Restaurants is looking for applicants to fill Prep/Crew helper/member positions..
Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and safety standards at least 3 days per week, and working the customer service line out front 2 days per week.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Support front-of-house operations by bussing tables, handling cashier duties, and assisting with customer inquiries
- Manage food handling responsibilities including proper storage, rotation, and waste reduction to ensure freshness and safety
- Uphold high standards of sanitation, including proper food handling techniques, cleaning schedules, and adherence to health codes
- Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues to meet service goals and upsell menu items
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing
- Strong understanding of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, serving procedures, bussing, and general food industry standards
