We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Security Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of burglar alarm systems and CCTV/video surveillance equipment in commercial and residential settings. This role requires a detail-oriented professional.
Key Responsibilities:
-Install, maintain, and repair security systems in accordance with industry standards and local codes.
-Diagnosing and repairing issues with security systems, cameras, and related devices.
-Running and terminating cabling for alarm panels, sensors, and surveillance equipment.
-Respond to service calls and emergency situations in a timely manner.
-Keep accurate records of all maintenance, and installations.
-Providing on-site customer support and training as needed.
-Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
-Collaborate with other technicians and contractors on larger projects.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
-Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Technician or in a similar role.
-Familiarity with DSC, Honeywell and GE systems is preferred.
-Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Excellent communication and customer service skills.
-Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
-Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
