Our practice is fully equipped with advanced digital technology—including digital X-rays, iTero digital scanners, CBCT 3D imaging, and in-office 3D printing. Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and maintain detailed medical histories.
- Take and process digital dental X-rays and scans.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and personalized home care.
- Administer local anesthesia as required and permitted.
- Assist dentists during specialized procedures when needed.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records in compliance with HIPAA and practice standards.
- Upkeep strict infection control and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills
- Active State Dental Hygienist License (and local anesthesia certification, if applicable).
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene clinical practices, periodontal therapy, and oral anatomy.
- Proficiency with modern electronic dental software and digital technology (iTero, CBCT experience is a plus).
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first mindset.
