South Central Behavioral Health Clinic is seeking a Mental Health Technician in Jamestown, ND.
As a Mental Health Technician, you will help individuals practice skills so they can live a quality, independent life.
Every day, you will travel to individuals' homes and communities. There you will encourage, reinforce, and coach individuals as they practice newly learned living and household skills, communication and emotion regulation skills, budgeting skills, as well as health, safety, and hygiene skills. You will be part of an integrated, interdisciplinary team focused on providing the best support plan possible for each individual.

To be considered for the Skills Integrator position, you are required to have a high school diploma or GED; AND at least 12 months of work experience in a position providing direct care to special populations; AND requires a valid driver's license or ability to travel to meet client needs.
This position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of defensive driving course will be required in the first 6 months of employment.
- NCCB Certification as a mental health technician must be obtained within 6 months of hire for continued employment. An LBSW, LMSW, LAPC, or LPC can be substituted for the Mental Health Certification.
Location
ND HHS utilizes a blended workplace model. This position provides essential client services face to face and therefore the person in this position needs to be able to travel to meet clients at their location.
