Job Summary
We are seeking for a SKILLED Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a STRONG background in CARPENTRY, tile, flooring, doors, windows, siding, soffit, fascia, light plumbing, and electrical techniques and construction practices - well rounded.
This role requires an EXPERIENCED hands-on experience in a variety of tasks, including framing, trim work, and restoration projects. The Carpenter/Laborer will work collaboratively with other tradespeople to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Perform framing and trim carpentry tasks on residential and commercial projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Assist in concrete forming, plastering, and masonry work as needed
- Execute fixture installations, including cabinets and doors
- Carry out water damage restoration and mold remediation tasks
- Conduct heavy lifting and physical labor as required on job sites
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion within deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Trim, base, doors, crown, decks, tiling, windows, siding, and etc.
Experience
- Proven experience in carpentry, construction, or related fields
- Familiarity with construction estimating and project management principles
- Knowledge of woodworking techniques, including cabinet installation and door hanging
- Experience in roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, and metal stud framing
- Background in the restoration industry is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to perform plumbing tasks or electrical work is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites
