Immediate opening for Lead Bartender/Bar Manager, Servers, Cashiers & Cooks
Apply in person daily between 2 pm - 4 pm
The Lead Bartender/Bar Manager is responsible for greeting customers, taking drink/food orders, completing to go orders, mixing cocktails, as well as serving bottled/draft beer and completing transactions; providing the highest quality of service to both internal and external guests; performs all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by management.
- Follows recipes and/or specs for mixing beverages
- Must check bottles, and spouts for cleanliness, and fill mixer bottles for daily use.
- Make sure all blenders and parts are clean and sanitized for use. Must clean between uses, no exceptions!
- Make sure that beer cooler is stocked, and ready for the shift.
- Prepare garnishes for drinks; such as lemon slices, limes, olives, and cherries.
- Collects payments and operates cash registers for drinks and/or food served following company established cash handling policies and procedures for all transactions; secures all monies at the end of each shift
- Follows alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and deals with intoxicated guests
- Follows all the company's customer service, adult beverage and cash handling policies and procedures
- Ensures a clean, sanitized and well stocked bar
- Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits as well as their preparation and presentation keeping updated on new and revised beverage recipes
- Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
- Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Catering and wedding experience a plus
- Ability to build sales through repeat bar patrons, up selling of food and alcohol as well as creating a fun professional atmosphere
The Server/Cashier is the creator of the guest experience. The role of the Server/Cashier is to serve the guests in a friendly sincere manner, and guarantee them the best possible dining experience.
- Restaurant servers & cashiers are responsible for submitting guest menu selections
- Welcome guest with a friendly sincere greeting
- Thank guests as they leave the restaurant
- This person will gain menu knowledge and give recommendations from our food and drink specials up selling to build sales.
- Servers & Cashiers will engage in casual conversation and create the restaurant experience by their style and service attributes.
- Other duties include general restaurant preparation, maintaining a sanitary environment, food running, greeting & seating guests, table clearing, resetting, and side work
- Serve food in a timely manner
- Ensure food orders are correct before serving to guests
- Must have a positive attitude in high demand and stressful situation
- Must be a team player
- Must check ID’s for customers purchasing alcoholic beverages
- Must know daily food and drink specials
- Frequently lift/carry 25 lbs.
- Standing and/or walking for long periods of time
- Follow accurate cash handling procedures.
- Answer phone properly and place to go orders
- Bus tables - removing dirty dishes, utensils and glasses to the kitchen
- Restocking ice bins, service stations and condiment containers
The Cook is the responsible for providing excellent food quality for our customers.
- Prepare food and plate dishes according to a restaurant's menu specifications in a timely manner.
- Ensure each station is prepped and stocked for shift volume
- Demonstrate clean as you go standards
- Make sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
- Clean prep areas, rotate product (FIFO) - label and date all product
- Ability to prioritize multiple ticket items simultaneously and coordinate food items preparations for complete meal
- Nightly fry cleaning and filtering – steamline breakdown
- Ability to portion product
***All employees must keep a clean appearance, men shaved or trimmed beards, women hair pulled back from face and off shoulders, nails trimmed, and clean uniforms.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $7.25 - $15.00 per hour
