Job Overview
Our growing endodontic practice is looking for a dependable, motivated Dental Assistant to join our team long-term. We are searching for someone who is compassionate with patients. works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing excellent care.
Experience in dental assisting is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials for endodontic procedures, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use.
- Assist the dentist during root canal treatments and other endodontic interventions by providing chairside support.
- Take digital radiographs and CBCT scans, ensuring proper technique and patient safety.
- Maintain accurate clinical notes and records of the patient.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral health maintenance specific to endodontic procedures.
- Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and assisting with dental reception duties when needed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to help create an efficient and positve patient experince.
Requirements
- Dental assisting experience preferred. Experience with specialty dentistry is a plus, but not required.
- X-ray certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Friendly, professional attitude
Pay: $24.00 per hour
