Job Title: Dishwasher

Job Summary
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and work areas at the Country Club of Missouri. This role supports the culinary and service teams by ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Schedule
- Tuesday – Saturday
- 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing equipment or by hand
- Properly store clean dishes and equipment in designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas, including floors, mats, walls, trash areas, and dish stations
- Assist with trash and recycling removal according to established procedures
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
- Safely handle cleaning chemicals and supplies in accordance with training and posted guidelines
- Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning or prep-related tasks as assigned
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management promptly
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; kitchen or dishwashing experience preferred
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
Physical Demands

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 7 hours per shift)
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Frequent bending, reaching, and use of hands for grasping and handling objects
- Exposure to heat, water, cleaning chemicals, and kitchen equipment
