We are seeking a motivated and dependable Express Service Technician to join our service team. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, have a strong work ethic, and are interested in building a career in the automotive industry. As an Express Service Technician, you will perform routine maintenance services while delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring every vehicle is serviced safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil and filter changes, tire rotations, multi-point inspections, and fluid checks.
- Inspect brakes, batteries, belts, hoses, tires, and other vehicle components for wear and safety concerns.
- Check and top off vehicle fluids according to manufacturer specifications.
- Replace air filters, cabin filters, windshield wiper blades, and light bulbs as needed.
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate inspection findings to service advisors.
- Follow manufacturer and dealership service procedures.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Properly operate shop equipment and tools.
- Assist with additional maintenance and repair tasks as directed by management.
- Work efficiently to meet productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous automotive experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a lube technician or automotive service technician.
- ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
- Experience working in a dealership or automotive repair shop is preferred.
