Administrative Assistant
Imago Dei Learning Community, a K-12 Christ-centered, learner-driven, and flexible learning environment is seeking an organized, dependable, and service-minded Administrative Assistant to serve as a welcoming face and organizational backbone of our organization. This individual will play a vital role in supporting students, families, staff, and leadership through exceptional customer service, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to our Christ-centered mission.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates with warmth and professionalism, enjoys being around students of all ages, maintains confidentiality, and enjoys wearing many hats.
HOURS: Flexible (Full-time or Part-time) for the right candidate
- Full-Time: Monday - Friday, 8am - 3:30 pm
- Part-Time: Minimum of 20 hours per week
Additional flexibility based on academic calendar
- 12-month position
- 10-month position, 2 months' unpaid break
SALARY: $15 - $23.5/hr
Reports To: Director
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Office & Family Support
- Greet and assist visitors, students, and families
- Answer phones, emails, and general inquiries
- Maintain a welcoming and organized environment
- Coordinate appointments and school meetings
- Assist with student enrollment and registration
Administrative Support
- Prepare correspondence, forms, and communications as needed
- Maintain accurate student records and databases
- Organize digital and physical filing systems
- Order supplies and maintain inventory
Financial & Operational Support
- Assist with tuition payments and documentation
- Assist with bank deposits
- Assist with fundraising events and donor acknowledgments
- Track volunteer hours and school forms
- Coordinate school calendars
Operations
- Assist with event planning and logistics
- Coordinate substitute coverage when needed
- Maintain attendance records
- Support compliance documentation
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to live out your faith daily
- High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High proficiency with Google Workspace and Canva
- Excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrate professionalism and discretion with confidential information
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum two years of administrative experience preferred
- Knowledge of QuickBooks Online or ability to learn software
- Experience coordinating events or volunteers
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Frequent computer use
- Ability to move throughout the school building
