The Opportunity
Step into a pivotal role managing full-cycle accounting across our dynamic group of construction and manufacturing companies.
You will work directly with ownership to ensure accurate job costing, clean books, and reliable financial reporting.

How You Will Make an Impact

You will manage full-cycle bookkeeping across multiple entities, expertly handling inter-company transactions and allocations.
- You will maintain QuickBooks Online to ensure accurate general ledger coding and precise project job costing.
- You will process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and AIA-style progress billings for our active construction projects.
- You will track and reconcile all retainage, subcontractor compliance documents, and lien releases.
- You will analyze job profitability and prepare essential work-in-progress (WIP) reporting for leadership review.
- You will manage bank and credit card reconciliations across all related companies within the overarching group.
- You will prepare monthly financial statements and collaborate seamlessly with outside CPAs for year-end tax preparations.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of 5 years of proven bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Direct, hands-on experience working within the construction industry.
- Strong technical proficiency in utilizing QuickBooks Online.
- Solid understanding of job costing, WIP, AIA billing, retainage, and lien waivers.
- Demonstrated experience managing inter-company transactions and multi-entity accounting.
- Strong proficiency in Excel paired with excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- A high level of discretion and confidentiality for handling sensitive financial data.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Specific experience managing multiple companies simultaneously within QuickBooks Online.
