Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools
- Follow strict food safety sanitizing procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and transporting used dishware to the kitchen for cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
- Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, trays, and boxes safely according to kitchen health and safety standards
- Adhere to all sanitation policies and procedures to uphold restaurant hygiene standards at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices and sanitation procedures
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers and sinks efficiently
- Strong manual handling skills with the capacity for heavy lifting when necessary
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitation standards are met
- Ability to work quickly in a high-pressure environment while maintaining quality standards
- Flexibility to work various shifts including, weekends, or holidays as needed
