Produce Clerk Floater (Freehold & Brick Locations)
Position Summary:
The Produce Clerk Floater is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of freshness, quality, cleanliness, and customer service in the Produce Department. This position will travel between the Freehold and Brick locations based on business needs to support department operations, assist with merchandising, and ensure a fully stocked, visually appealing produce department.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Travel between the Freehold and Brick locations as scheduled.
- Stock, rotate, and replenish fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and specialty produce using FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices.
- Inspect produce for quality and freshness, removing damaged or expired products promptly.
- Create attractive displays that reflect Livoti’s high merchandising standards.
- Receive and unload deliveries while verifying product quality and accuracy.
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitized sales floor, prep areas, coolers, and backrooms.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company operating procedures.
- Assist customers with locating products, answering questions, and providing product recommendations.
- Operate pallet jacks, carts, and other approved equipment safely.
- Assist with inventory counts, shrink control, and minimizing product waste.
- Support other departments when business needs require.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Store Management or the Produce Manager.
Qualifications:
- Previous produce or grocery experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation with the ability to travel between the Freehold and Brick locations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk for extended periods.
- Must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
