The Business Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, support, optimization, and continuous improvement of SATO America's core business applications, with primary responsibility for Oracle R12 and ePS Radius and other key departmental software. The role serves as the technical and functional liaison between IT, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, and external software vendors to ensure business systems are reliable, secure, and aligned with operational goals.
The Business Systems Administrator will support system configuration, user administration, integrations, reporting, troubleshooting, upgrades, testing, and business process improvements across multiple manufacturing locations.
Key Responsibilities
ERP & Business Application Administration

Serve as primary administrator for Oracle R12 and ePS Radius.

Maintain application security, user roles, and access controls.

Support configuration changes and system enhancements.

Perform system monitoring and proactive issue resolution.

Coordinate software patches, upgrades, and release testing.
Manufacturing & Operations Support

Support Radius estimating, planning, purchasing, scheduling, shop floor reporting, and production processes.

Partner with manufacturing teams to optimize system utilization.

Troubleshoot order management, inventory, production, and procurement issues.

Support integration between Oracle and Radius. The company's Radius environment is integrated with Oracle and supports estimating, item setup, purchasing, scheduling, and shop-floor reporting processes. [ePS/Radius | SharePoint]
Business Process Improvement

Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.

Work closely with functional leaders on process redesign initiatives.

Develop and maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.
User Support & Training

Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 application support.

Provide Tier 1 support of non Oracle/Radius applications.

Develop user training materials.

Conduct training sessions and system onboarding.
Data & Reporting

Support data integrity initiatives.

Assist in report development and Power BI integration.

Coordinate master data governance activities.
Required

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Supply Chain, Accounting, or related field.

5+ years supporting ERP or major business applications.

Experience administering Oracle ERP environments.

Strong SQL and reporting experience.

Experience supporting manufacturing and distribution operations.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
