Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Prepare non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks following established recipes and standards
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions with precision, giving correct change and processing payments smoothly
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area by cleaning tables, counters, equipment, and food prep zones to ensure food safety standards are met
- Assist with food handling and preparation tasks to ensure fresh, quality offerings for guests
- Support beverage service by serving drinks promptly and ensuring guest satisfaction during busy morning hours
Skills
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and transaction processing
- Previous food service or café experience is preferred, especially barista or beverage preparation roles
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy mornings
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and register operations
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
