Job Overview
We are seeking a contractor to support an investigation with our suppliers regarding what products have restricted chemicals in them, such as PFAS. This role is important to ensure our company is in regulatory compliance with the EPA TSCA 8(a)(7) reporting. The ideal contractor will have experience managing a project, interacting both internally and with suppliers, and if possible, have knowledge of the Windchill and Silicon Expert databases. Background with chemistry is a plus.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop list of materials that we purchase which potentially could have restricted chemicals in them.
- Work with the Suppliers to collect documentation that will confirm whether or not restricted chemicals are in the materials purchased.
- Use One Drive site to store collected documentation.
- Use Excel sheet (or other acceptable method) to track the status of the materials checked and status of Supplier contact for documentation.
- May help with tracking of other Chemical Restricted documentation from Industry Organizations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Attention to detail, processes, bias for action, accountability, data collection and analysis, problem solving, judgement and decision-making
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Project management and presentation skills
- Pro-active working style
Preferred:
- Technical knowledge of environmental regulations like TSCA, Prop 65 REACH, RoHS, WEEE, Battery, and Packaging Directives, Stockholm Convention
- Experience in international regulatory/compliance processes & organizations
- Background in chemistry and material sciences

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
