Namebrand is looking for a Receiving and Warehouse Worker to manage the unloading, inspecting, sorting, and storing incoming inventory while maintaining accurate inventory records. Employee will use forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners to prepare items for shipment, ensure safety, and keep the warehouse organized, running kitting jobs, and picking and packing daily orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving & Unloading: Unloading trucks, inspecting shipments for damages and quality control.
- Inventory Control: Updating inventory records, using barcode scanners, and performing inventory counts.
- Organization: Storing items, rotating stock, kitting and fulfilling webstore orders
- Equipment Operation: Operating forklifts, going up and down ladders, Driving a Sprinter Van, and operating pallet jacks.
- Shipping & Packing: Preparing items for outbound shipping and creating shipping labels. Picking Orders and local deliveries to customers and vendors
Typical Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Previous warehouse and forklift experience is a requirement . Will need Forklift certification and a valid Drivers License. International shipping experience is a plus.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 60 lbs. Work in a fast pace environment, with quick turnaround times
- Technical Skills: Basic math skills, familiarity with computer systems, Warehouse Management Systems and experience with inventory scanners.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent
