Our services include flooring needs assessments, product recommendations and specifications, budgeting, estimating, procurement, installation, and maintenance.
We are seeking a motivated Account Executive to join our sales team and help grow our customer base while maintaining outstanding relationships with existing clients. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong communication skills, professionalism, and a desire to build a career in commercial flooring sales.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through industry networking, referrals, and independent prospecting
- Contacting prospective and existing clients via email, phone, and in-person
- Attending job walks and client meetings
- Preparing detailed proposals by reviewing architectural plans, assessing client needs and gathering pricing from manufacturers and/or subcontractors
- Contract negotiation to solidify sales
- Building and maintaining client relationships throughout the project lifecycle while collaborating closely with dedicated Project Management and Production Teams
- Developing and maintaining relationships with manufacturer representatives
- Collaborating effectively with internal departments, including Business Development, Estimating, Project Management, Production, Warehouse, and Accounting, to support successful project delivery
- Continuously learning and improving knowledge of all types of floor covering and installation methods to keep up with industry trends and share expertise with clients
Requirements/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Sincere passion for customer service
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Outstanding organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Professional, dependable, accountable, and punctual
- Self-motivated and internally driven to excel
- Experience in flooring or construction-related field is a plus, but not required
- Sales experience is a plus, but not required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle to commute to office and visit customers, this is not a remote position
Compensation: Starting salary of $60,000 - $70,000 per year depending on experience, plus performance-based commission opportunities tied to sales goals and profitability. Compensation is designed to grow over time with performance and sales volume.
