Position Summary
We are looking for a technically skilled Inside Sales Engineer to provide application support, prepare technical quotations, and develop customer relationships within an industrial manufacturing environment. This role combines engineering knowledge with sales expertise to recommend product solutions and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical product recommendations and application support.
- Review customer specifications and prepare accurate quotations.
- Respond to RFQs, technical inquiries, and customer requests.
- Support customers with product selection, troubleshooting, and order management.
- Build and maintain relationships with distributors, OEMs, and end users.
- Track sales opportunities and customer activity within CRM/ERP systems.
- Partner with engineering and outside sales teams to deliver solutions and grow accounts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of technical sales, application engineering, or inside sales experience.
- Knowledge of motor controls, drives, soft starters, or industrial automation.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with CRM and ERP systems preferred.
