Mets Baseball & Softball Camps is hiring Camp Counselors to work with young campers ages 4–6. This role is perfect for educators who want to spend their summer outdoors, active, and making a positive impact on young children.
- Continue working with children in a fun, outdoor camp setting

Stay active while teaching and mentoring
As a Camp Counselor for ages 4–6, you will help create a safe, structured, and engaging environment where young campers are introduced to baseball and softball through age-appropriate games and activities.
No advanced sports experience required—we provide all training, curriculum, and equipment.
- Supervise and engage campers ages 4–6 in small groups

Lead age-appropriate games, activities, and beginner sports instruction

Ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment

Support social development, teamwork, and confidence-building

Manage daily routines, transitions, and behavior

Communicate positively with campers, parents, and staff

Collaborate with Site Directors and fellow counselors
- Experience as a preschool teacher, daycare teacher, or early childhood educator preferred

Experience working with children ages 3–6 (required)

Background in early childhood education, child development, or teaching is a plus

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Patient, energetic, and nurturing personality

Reliable and dependable
- Monday–Friday (~8-hour days)

Summer camp season (June–August 2026)

3–5 week commitment preferred
- $17.25–$23/hr (based on experience)
- Work outdoors with young children

Multiple locations available throughout the region. Applicants will be placed at a site near them whenever possible.
