We are seeking motivated Owner Operators to join our dynamic transportation team! As an Owner Operator, you will leverage your expertise in commercial truck driving to deliver freight efficiently and safely across various routes. Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers including flatbed, refrigerated, tanker, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized freight vehicles.
- Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques or equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and hazardous materials regulations when transporting dangerous goods or hazardous materials.
- Manage the transportation of freight across assigned routes, ensuring accurate delivery schedules and proper documentation.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety standards and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo handling activities, and delivery records in accordance with DOT regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving with freight delivery.
- Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles and handling various trailer types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks.
- Knowledge of logistics cargo handling procedures including load & unload processes and freight security.
- Experience with GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient deliveries.
- Understanding of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, and hazardous materials regulations.
- Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially involving dangerous goods or hazardous materials.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently while adhering to safety standards.

Pay: $7,841.70 - $9,443.77 per week
