Sprout & Grow Education, a licensed child care center in Sacramento, is seeking a caring, reliable part-time Preschool Aide to support our teaching team.
Schedule: ~25 hours per week, Monday–Friday. Center hours are 7:00 AM–5:30 PM; shift times flexible based on coverage needs (may include opening and/or closing shifts).
Pay: $17.00–$19.00/hour, depending on experience and education units.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher with classroom activities, supervision, and daily routines
- Help with meals, snacks, nap time, and toileting/diapering as needed
- Support children's social, emotional, and learning development
- Help maintain a clean, safe, organized classroom
- Provide coverage during staff breaks
- Communicate respectfully with children, families, and coworkers
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must pass a criminal background check (Live Scan fingerprinting) prior to employment
- Must provide a health screening and TB clearance
- Current or willing to obtain Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification
- Mandated Reporter training (or willing to complete)
- Experience with young children preferred
- Early Childhood Education units a plus (not required)
