Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving breakfast items, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. This role is crucial in providing an exceptional breakfast experience that sets the tone for our guests' day.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items, including meats, eggs, pastries, and coffee.
- Set up and replenish the breakfast buffet or dining area with food items and beverages.
- Ensure all food service areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the breakfast service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system while maintaining guest relations.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests regarding the breakfast menu.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations in food preparation and service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items and maintain quality standards.
- Perform regular cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining areas to uphold hygiene standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or catering is preferred but not required.
- Culinary skills with an emphasis on cooking techniques and meat cutting are a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems for cash handling is desirable.
- Strong guest relations skills to provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must possess a positive attitude and be a team player who enjoys working with others.
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
