Six years of economic stability social services experience; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus three years of economic stability social services experience; OR
A bachelor's degree plus three years of economic stability social services experience; OR
An advanced degree in a social sciences field, business, public, or health administration plus two years of economic stability social services experience.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.
Job Duties:
Monitors program integrity within Economic Stability offices through case validation reviews to ensure benefits and services are accurately provided and to minimize errors and potential fiscal sanctions.- Directly supervises and evaluates Economic Stability Specialists responsible for conducting statewide case validation reviews, ensuring productivity and performance goals are met.
- Reviews SNAP application interviews and case validation findings to assess accuracy, identify problem areas, and recommend corrective actions to improve service delivery.
- Identifies trends, errors, and areas of noncompliance and recommends corrective actions to Program, Regional, and Parish Office staff to reduce errors and prevent loss of state and federal funds.
- Researches and analyzes program policies and recommends revisions to forms, procedures, and policies to reduce workload, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.
- Leads and participates in special projects, reports, workgroups, and initiatives designed to improve productivity, reduce errors, and support the implementation of new or revised policies and procedures.
- Prepares and assists with monthly and quarterly reports on error findings, trends, and training needs and provides recommendations to management based on case review results.
