What You'll Do
As a key member of the accounting team, you will support multiple business entities and play an integral role in the financial operations of the company, including:
- Construction progress billings and contract administration
- Job costing and work-in-progress (WIP) reporting
- Project billing, lien releases, and contract tracking
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable oversight
- Month-end close and financial reporting
- Union reporting and insurance administration
- Maintain project status reports and financial spreadsheets
- Support multiple business entities across construction, maintenance, and related operations
- Participate in management meetings and assist with business planning
- Collaborate with project managers and operations leadership
As you grow in the role, you'll gain exposure to budgeting, operational management, and strategic decision-making while preparing for increased leadership responsibilities.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Construction or project accounting experience preferred
- Experience with Sage accounting software
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Union accounting experience
- Job costing and WIP reporting
- Experience supporting multiple entities
