Overview
Join our healthcare team as a Physician Assistant, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. The Maven Group specializes in OB/GYN and services all of the Inland Empire. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with physicians and healthcare professionals, providing comprehensive medical services, supporting patient management, and ensuring efficient clinical operations. This position is part time with a possibility of becoming full time.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking vital signs, performing physical examinations, and documenting medical histories accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Assist in diagnosing and managing a wide range of conditions across specialties such as dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine, geriatrics, and medical-surgical units
- Provide patient education on treatment plans, medication administration, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care strategies
- Maintain detailed medical documentation adhering to healthcare regulations and ICD coding standards for billing and recordkeeping purposes
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as ensuring compliance with healthcare policies
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and ICD coding practices
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) management tools
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically across diverse populations

Pay: $58.00 - $70.00 per hour
