Hey
We are seeking an experienced Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (ACNP-P) for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. This assignment will start at 13-weeks but will likely be at least 26 weeks minimum!
Position Details
- Schedule: 5–10 shifts per month
- Shift: 14-hour night shifts (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- EMR: Epic
Practice Setting
- Inpatient Pediatric Unit
- Unit Size: 8 beds
- Average Patient Census: 6–7 patients per shift
Responsibilities
- Admit and accept pediatric inpatient patients
- Provide cross-coverage for the inpatient unit and Hospital at Home program as needed
- Perform virtual Emergency Department consults for regional sites
- Collaborate with the CHIPS physician team, with physician backup available by phone throughout each shift
Requirements
- Required Certification: Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (ACNP-P)
- OR Physician Assistant with IP experience!
- Pediatric inpatient experience required
