We're looking for a passionate, hands-on Assistant General Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves developing people, and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Position Summary
As the Assistant General Manager, you'll partner with the General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, develop team members, and create a positive, high-performing culture. You'll play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, food quality, guest satisfaction, and financial success.
What You'll Do
- Support the General Manager in overseeing all daily restaurant operations
- Lead, coach, and develop Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members
- Train new employees and reinforce company standards and procedures
- Create a positive, engaging work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability
- Ensure outstanding guest service by resolving concerns professionally and promptly
- Monitor food quality, cleanliness, food safety, and operational standards
- Conduct operational walks and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Assist with scheduling, labor management, attendance, and shift coverage
- Manage inventory, ordering, cash handling, deposits, and cost controls
- Complete daily administrative duties, reports, and operational checklists
- Ensure the restaurant opens and closes according to company standards
- Lead by example and uphold all company policies, safety procedures, and brand standards
What We're Looking For
- Previous restaurant management experience as an Assistant General Manager, Assistant Manager, or Shift Leader
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and opening/closing shifts
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
