Duties
- Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members while providing ongoing training and development to enhance their skills.
- Manage payroll, cash handling, and bookkeeping tasks accurately to ensure operational efficiency.
- Oversee inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize profitability.
- Utilize POS systems for sales transactions and monitor daily sales reports to track performance metrics.
- Implement effective management practices such as shift scheduling, supervising staff performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Foster a welcoming environment by delivering exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles within the retail industry.
- Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and payroll processing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams confidently and manage operational tasks efficiently.
- Experience with retail math including pricing strategies, sales management, budgeting, and operational management.
- Supervising experience in a grocery or retail store environment is preferred; familiarity with retail product knowledge is a plus.

Pay: $52,388.62 - $63,091.68 per year
