North Dakota Math Corps & Reading Corps are seeking dedicated tutors to support Kindergarten through 8th-grade students in developing essential reading and math skills. Positions are available across North Dakota, including Bismarck, Fargo, Jamestown, and West Fargo.
What You’ll Do:
- Math Corps Tutors support students in small groups (pairs), working with K–3rd or 4th–8th graders.
- Reading Corps Tutors work one-on-one with Kindergarten–3rd grade students in 20-minute sessions following a set daily schedule.
- All training and materials are provided—no prior teaching experience required!
Position Details:
- Commitment: September–May (full school year), Monday–Friday, during school hours.
Schedule Options:
- Reduced Half-Time: 4.5 hours/day → $1200/month stipend + $1,956 education award
- Half-Time: 5.5 hours/day → $1,600/month stipend + $3,697 education award
AmeriCorps Benefits:
- Monthly stipend (in lieu of hourly wage)
